Our take
Not a restaurant, but the address we send people to on the first morning: coffee, a pain au chocolat, and a sandwich for the lifts.
The story
Maison Gandy has been baking in Courchevel since 1963, and the family has kept it for some fifty years.
The Forum shop is the practical one in 1850: bread, viennoiseries, pastries and sandwiches to take up the mountain, with no booking needed.
Best for
Breakfast, a picnic lunch, a coffee between two runs.
Good to know
Reviews on the bread are mixed; the pastries are the safer bet. Busy at 8:30 am in school holidays.
